I know that many students find Physics hard. Whether you are studying GCSE Physics or GCSE Combined Science, the physics content can feel overwhelming. With my Grade 5 Booster course, we cover the core fundamentals, creating strong foundations to build student confidence and improve outcomes.

Weekly small-group 40 minute live interactive lessons. Covering the core content you need to secure the grade 5. Lessons feature a mix of content explanation, live exam question demonstration, student practice, quizzes and progress checks.

Receive tailored activities after each session to consolidate learning and build confidence. With feedback and support, no one is left behind. These homework activities are carefully designed to produce the greatest impact for least effort. No 'filler', just great practice and consolidation.

Immediately after each live lesson I host a Q&A session where all of your questions on the topic are answered. The Q&A session goes on for as long as needed. If students are still asking questions on the topic, the session continues. No one leaves a session with an unanswered question.
This is not a generic revision course! Sessions are carefully pitched for students who may be finding physics hard and are aiming to secure the grade 5 and beyond.
Each session is led by me, Louis, an experienced examiner, teacher and former Head of Physics with over a decade of classroom experience helping students of all abilities.
Get the benefits of one-to-one tutoring at a fraction of the cost. My standard rate for one-to-one tutoring is £82 per hour and I'm fully booked through most of the year. These small group sessions work out at just £28 per session.

This course is primarily designed with year 11 students in mind to help them get ready for exams by building confidence in the core content. It is, however, also suitable for students in year 9 and 10 (including those aiming for the highest grades) as a way to meet the content before it is covered in school. Having expert teaching in the fundamentals will lay strong foundations for them as they continue their journey through physics.
All of the sessions are recorded so you can watch it back at a time that suits you.
This depends. There are some advantages to one-to-one tutoring however much of the benefit can be achieved through live lessons. Students still receive expert teaching and personalised support from an experienced physics teacher and examiner. The inclusive Q&A sessions mean that any questions they have, or aspects that they are unsure of, get addressed. There is also the benefit in learning from the questions posed by other students and it is available at a fraction of the cost of one-to-one expert tutoring.
I appreciate that some students don't like to speak up and ask questions. In the Q&A sessions, students can turn on their microphones to ask questions but they can also type them into the chat as well.
Yes! This course is suitable for both GCSE Physics (Separate/Triple Science) and GCSE Combined Science students. All of the content in the live sessions is required on both courses. Although it is suitable for combined science students, the course only covers the physics content (no Biology or Chemistry) making it perfect for combined science students who need some help with the physics.
